Safety is the lifeline and the very foundation of productivity! TeChong Company places the highest priority on the safety of its employees and company assets. To further strengthen the fire safety awareness of all staff, enhance emergency response capabilities and self/mutual-rescue skills in the event of a sudden fire, and effectively ensure a safe and stable production environment, TeChong recently organized a large-scale fire safety drill.
As the simulated fire alarm sounded, the drill swiftly transitioned into a tense and realistic practical exercise. Upon confirmation of the "fire" by the central fire control room, the emergency response plan was immediately activated, with evacuation instructions broadcast simultaneously. Under the calm guidance of evacuation directors, all employees strictly followed the "stay low, cover your mouth and nose" protocol, evacuating quickly and orderly along designated routes to the outdoor safety assembly point. Department heads promptly accounted for all personnel, ensuring no one was left behind in the "danger zone." The entire evacuation process was highly efficient and orderly.
Following the evacuation, colleagues from the Administration Department acted as "safety instructors," providing a detailed explanation of the applications, features, and operational principles of portable dry powder fire extinguishers. Additionally, professional instructors from the fire department demonstrated the rapid connection of fire hoses, proper securing of couplings, and techniques for holding the nozzle and controlling water flow—covering every detail with clarity.
Theory informs the mind, practice embeds the skill! In a designated safe practice area, security personnel had prepared oil pan fire sources. Under close supervision, participants took turns in pairs to practice. Guided by the instructors' cues—"Lift, Pull, Aim, Squeeze"—they handled extinguishers, maintained a safe distance, aimed at the base of the flames, and completed the extinguishing process smoothly. Instructors provided immediate corrections to ensure everyone mastered the proper technique.
After the drill, the commander summarized the exercise. He emphasized that safety is the cornerstone of TeChong's development and a matter of vital importance to every employee. This drill not only tested the effectiveness of our emergency plans but also significantly elevated the safety awareness and emergency response skills of all staff. He urged everyone to internalize the knowledge and skills gained, translate them into action, remain constantly vigilant, and foster a culture where "everyone values safety and is prepared for emergencies," collectively safeguarding our work environment and lives.
